Dr. Tyler Pitre is a respirology fellow at the University of Toronto and currently pursuing a PhD at Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia. Dr. Pitre earned his Medical Doctor degree from McMaster University, where he also completed his residency in Internal Medicine. He has contributed to over 50 peer reviewed academic publications, having led 31 as lead author in many areas of respiratory medicine, including interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, COVID-19 infection, airways disease, as well as critical care medicine. His future clinical and research interest involve evidence based medicine in interstitial lung diseases and pulmonary hypertension.
