Anne E Holland is Professor of Physiotherapy and Head of Respiratory Research at Monash University and Alfred Health in Melbourne, Australia. She leads a research program that aims to improve the lives of people with pulmonary fibrosis using non-pharmacological treatments. Her recent clinical trials have tested novel models of pulmonary rehabilitation to improve access and uptake, including low cost home-based models and telerehabilitation. Professor Holland is currently the President of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand. She is leading the development of a pulmonary rehabilitation domain for REMAP-ILD and is a member of the local Australian steering committee.
REMAP-ILD will provide a unique opportunity to test a range of complex non-pharmacological interventions, to ensure that people with pulmonary fibrosis get the right treatment at the right time.
